Kartell

Founded in 1949 by Giulio Castelli, Kartell was Initially set up to produce plastic car accessories, later turning its attention to household goods, lab equipment and eventually lighting. Consolidating it's efforts in the 60's to capitalise on the success of the "made in Italy" design of the time, Kartell continued to explore the versatility of plastics which is still evident today. Kartell creations include the Bourgie Lamp, Louis Ghost Chair and the Ge Light.
